We are pleased to announce positive changes to our pharmaceutical offering with the introduction of our new classification of Priority Medical Supply, effective July 8, 2025.

 

Beginning this summer, Canadian North’s cargo management system will reflect updated Commodities and Nature of Goods (NOG) classifications to better prioritize the handling of life-saving pharmaceutical shipments. In addition, you will see important operational updates implemented including specialized handling procedures, loading priorities, enhanced documentation, and communication processes.

 

Customers using our online Cargo Portal or direct API integration will see the new Commodity and NOG categories during Air Waybill (AWB) creation. For customers using manual AWBs, our Cargo Agents will ensure the correct information is transposed.
